FMCSA Portal Temporarily Offline
FMCSA Portal is Offline until May 19th
The FMCSA announced today that the FMCSA Portal, as well as the URS and L&I systems, are currently offline. This outage will last until Tuesday, May 19th. The temporary downtime is due to the transition to the new MOTUS registration system.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as any new information becomes available.
Waiver to Allow Paper Medical Cards Extended
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has announced they
are extending the waiver to continue to allow the use of a paper
copy of the medical examiner’s certificate as proof of the driver’s
medical certificate until October 11, 2026. This waiver applies to
drivers with a CDL and CLP (Commercial Learner’s Permit) and allows
them to use the paper copy up to 60 days after the issue date.
